About
Bakerview Memorial Cemetery is Metro Vancouver’s newest large format cemetery, and the first to open in more than 60 years. It was officially inaugurated with its first burial in early 2022. The cemetery is located in Langley, BC near the Aldergrove Town Centre, and is servicing full body burials and the interment of cremated remains for both the Fraser Valley and Metro Vancouver Region. Surrounded by trees and set amongst clear views of the Coastal Mountains, Bakerview provides a uniquely tranquil, and beautiful setting for your loved ones.
The cemetery is proud to care for families of all cultures, beliefs, and backgrounds with compassionate care and personalized service, and welcome people of all faiths. Bakerview also has a commitment to ensure that Langley residents will always have a place for their loved ones, while simultaneously servicing the needs of both the entire Fraser Valley and Metro Vancouver Regions.
As a new cemetery, the first two phases are already open and provide a variety of traditional burial and cremation burial options, including double-depth burial plots, space for inground cremated remains, columbariums, indoor glass-front niches, outdoor granite niches, and family estates. Bakerview will also ensure new options are available for all variety of needs as time goes on.
The staff has 100 years of cemetery experience combined, which includes administrators, family counselors, groundskeepers, and more. Bakerview is also a local cemetery. It is privately owned and operated by three principal owners who have been investing in and caring for their local lower mainland communities where they work and live.
