The region’s population continues to grow and land is becoming scarce. With burial spaces becoming less available, the prices of these lots have increased by as much as 30 times, varying by location. On September 28th, 2022, Aldergrove opened the Lower Mainland’s first large cemetery in more than 60 years, which will serve the Fraser Valley and Metro Vancouver regions.
